Set your intention before you set your resolutions.

PULSE ecstatic trance dance and drumming

Our initial PULSE of the year, will be on the standard first Monday of the month: January 2, 2012, 7:30-9:00PM. We hope you’ll join us for this very special event.

We will invite you to take part in the traditional parts of PULSE: three, 20-minute segments of free-form dancing to live drummers in which you allow your intention to speak however it can to your whole self. But this first-of-the-year event has some special elements that we are repeating this year by special request from our regular participants:

Journalling and Dancing

As part of our new year intention-setting, we’ll pause between each of the dance segments to let you journal (if you wish) any thoughts, pictures, words, sketches, or whatever. Some who have participated in previous years will compare notes from last year’s reflections.

So, whether you want to have time for introspection, journalling or “just wanna move”, PULSE offers a fabulous way to move into the newness of the calendar year. Join us for the community, the individual reflection and the joy of moving our bodies to the beat.

There is a suggested door fee of $10.00/person to pay for the dance space and to provide a gift to the drummers.
